The Heart of Grooveberries

Grooveberries has been a local favorite since 2012, and in 2021, we were thrilled to pick up the froyo spoon and continue its legacy. As proud new owners, we were excited to carry on the tradition of serving up sweet treats and smiles to our community.

Meet the People Behind the Magic

Chase and Sarah Gibson’s journey to Grooveberries began at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, where they met and started their adventure together. Married in 2015 in the vibrant city of Santa Fe, NM, they later moved to Los Alamos in 2017, working at Los Alamos National Laboratory. When the world shifted in 2020, so did their path.

In September 2021, the Gibsons settled in Coeur d'Alene, ID, embracing business ownership with Grooveberries. They’ve loved the flexibility it’s brought to their homeschooling family of five and the opportunity to connect with their community in meaningful ways.

As devout Christians, their faith is the cornerstone of their lives and work. For the Gibsons, every decision—whether it’s serving customers or raising their children—reflects their guiding belief: Jesus is King!
